It is recommended that a child first see the dentist at around the age of 3. Some children may need to see a dentist at an earlier age if there are concerns. The first visit will be to familiarize the child with the office.

How much will insurance pay?

Dental insurance plans are set up to encourage preventative care. They vary widely in dentist selection, cost, and coverage and the difference between insurance plans is significant. We will submit the claims to your insurance company as a service to you. We will also help you get the information so you are aware of what your benefits are.

What if I don’t like the noise during treatment?

We make every effort to minimize the noise in our office. We have headphones available and each patient can adjust the volume to their comfort level.

Can I get my teeth cleaned at the first appointment?

The answer to this question is “we will try our best to clean your teeth at the first appointment.”, but there are other factors involved in this answer. If you have healthy teeth and gums we can usually go ahead with the cleaning. There are some instances when you need a more in depth cleaning because of periodontal disease. We will do a complete examination to determine your dental needs.

Do you have a payment plan?

We have many payment options available to our patients. We also give a discount for payments made on the day of service. We except payments using cash, check, debit or most major credit cards. We also have a financing option called Care Credit, which is a healthcare credit card that gives options of no interest payments for up to 18 months. We would be happy to help you fill out an application.

Does the doctor do dentures or partials?

Our staff will be happy to help you in this area. We have many patients that are very happy with the results they have achieved with dentures or partials.

What if I have an emergency?

We will make sure that you will be taken care of if you have a dental emergency. If it is after the office closes for the day, you can call our phone number at 608-222-9146. You will then be given a forwarding phone number to reach Dr. Teteak.
